Simon's interest in the Morris started at the age of six when he witnessed a performance at The Royal Show. He returned home and took up Sword Dancing. It was Simon's pagan interests that brought him back to the Morris in 1997. This, as with all other things, he takes very seriously. When not Morris dancing, Simon is usually deep in thought and communing with nature. Other interests include`living history' through medieval battle re-enactments that includes swordsmanship of a different sort.
He is as much at home with the long bow as the rest of us are with a tankard. Simon also produces a mean line in mead.
