John May

John joined the Side in October 1978 and by January 1980 was dancing in public. John was born in Londonderry and lived in Kent for many years before running a whole-food shop in Abingdon. He had never danced the Morris before joining us but had always been interested in folk music, song and dance.  He has now returned to Kent.
