After moving to the village of Cornworthy, a local agricultural engineer asked Terry if he was interested in Folk (yes). Had he a clean pair of hankies? (yes). Was he free on Friday nights? (yes). So it was in this fashion that Terry's lifelong interest in Folk was extended in 1975 to include the Morris. Two years with Dartington was followed by 3 years with Taunton Deane. After an absence of 10 years, Terry joined the Icknield Way Morris Men in 1994.

Terry has been responsible for taking The Side into the theatre. 'There's a thespian in every one of us', says Terry. Team members vehemently deny the charge. Terry left us in September 1999 and now lives in Somerset. His songs will be missed.
