Mark joined The Side in September 1998 after being asked by some friends to 'come and have a look'. He enjoyed this 'taster' so much that he decided to carry on dancing. He made friends with several other dancers, but it was Michael McArdle who helped him the most when he was having trouble with some of the stepping and dance figures. Help was also on hand from Sem, Phil and Nick. Mark has learned his lessons well and is well on his way to becoming a good dancer.
