The Side assists scouring

Uffington White Horse - planScouring the White Horse is an age old tradition, where crushed chalk is used to build up the surface of the figure. Morris Dancing also took place; the first time a Side has danced at the White Horse for nearly 150 years.  A request was made to one member of The Side to assist a young couple in their desire for a successful pregnancy!!! A Morris Man's hat, together with the young lady turning round a few times near the eye of the White Horse, should result in the desired effect.
