Since May 2006, the Grove Scouts have been learning some of the Icknield dances in the scout hut once a week, ready for their trip to Switzerland in August.

They were stars of the show which also involved performances from the other 10 or so scout/guide troops that were in Switzerland at the time.

Since the trip, the 8 lads have integrated into the Side, and together with the 3 lads of the same age we already have, they made their home debut at the White Horse Ceilidh on Saturday 28 October.

The programme of dances was Ring ‘o’ Bells Lichfield, Maid of the Mill Bampton, Lads a Bunchem Adderbury, Princess Royal Bampton then Jenny Lind Lichfield and was well received with rapturous applause!
